WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
The Wichita Transit Network Plan is a project that will result in a detailed plan to guide Wichita Transit over the next decade.
Wichita Transit periodically conducts a comprehensive systemwide analysis to identify existing challenges and opportunities for improvement. This project will identify local and regional transportation needs, challenges, and opportunities, create a cohesive planning effort, and prioritize short to long-term transit investments.
HOW LONG IS THIS PROJECT?
The Wichita Transit Network Plan is a year-long project.
Over the next twelve months, Wichita Transit will be completing a comprehensive evaluation of its transit system to develop recommendations that provide more convenient and efficient connections to jobs, services, and educational opportunities.
